3:10 PM - 4:40 PM    Circuit Lab - Hands on Electronics
Instructor: Circuit LabBio: Circuit Lab is a small company that teaches children about circuitry (electrical engineering) and programming (computer science) through creative, hands-on projects. Since 2015, our programs have given thousands of kids the opportunity to engage with electronics as tools - not toys -  and design their own devices by blending technical concepts with hands-on experimentation. Hands-On ElectronicsProgram Description: In a world powered by smart technology and AI, the most innovative engineers understand how software and hardware work together. This course gives young makers that critical edge. We start by exploring the magic of electronics with simple circuits, then begin making customized programmable devices with Arduino. We will gain practice working with LEDs, speakers, a variety of sensors, and several kid-friendly programming interfaces. Each class day is a chance to design, build, and code a new hands-on project while developing a valuable skill set.Schedule: Tuesdays, March 10th - April 14thTime: 3:10pm-4:40pmGrades: 3-5Cost: $225R / $240NRLocation: Russell St Elementary Summer ProgramsCircuit Makers 101Program Description: Let's get creative with electricity! In this junior electronics class students will gain experience with creating their own electronics, designing custom light-up greeting cards, electric games, mazes, and even musical instruments. Each class day consists of a circuitry lesson and a hands-on electronics project using components like lights buzzers, switches, motors, and sensors. Circuit Lab staff will make sure participants create many projects that they can be proud of, and each class day includes a take-home project.Schedule: Mon-Fri, August 10th-14thTime: 9am-12pmGrades: 1-3Cost: $280R / $295NRLocation: Littleton Middle School App InventorsProgram Description: Want to know how the apps work on your phone or Ipad? Or do you already have the next great app idea and just need to know how to make it? In this no-experience required course, we use MIT App Inventor software to make fun, creative apps for Android phones and tablets. We will also explore wireless communication by building custom Bluetooth hardware controllers and readouts for our apps. Participants will learn both the programming and design aspects of creating great apps, and have the opportunity to build apps of their own with the support of Circuit Lab instructors. Schedule: Mon-Fri, August 10th-14thTime: 1pm-4pmGrades: 4-7Cost: $280R / $295NRLocation: Littleton Middle School

With the success of the fall program, Parks and Rec and the Littleton Flag football board are developing a new program for the spring. A one-night a week "Skills, Drills, and Scrimmage" on Alumni Field on Saturday or Sunday nights for 1 hour.    The goal of this season is to continue the excitement for youths who love flag in a relatively low commitment given all of the spring sports and activities underway. Starting May 2nd for 6 weeks, U10, U12, U14, Girls division, and opening up a High School division, players will get 30mins of skills and drills and then 30mins of scrimmage following our NFL flag rules. Teams will be selected based on registration in advance based on age divisions, and we will need coaches for each team. This is a great way to have some fun on Saturday and Sunday nights. If interested, please see the details below and register your child. If interested in coaching, please email parks and rec at (drop in the parks and rec contact email). We will supply coaches with a curriculum each week and some plays to get started. Let's go flag!  Schedule: May 2 - June 13th (Saturday)4:00pm - 5:00pm - U10 Boys5:00pm - 6:00pm - U12 Boys6:00pm - 7:00pm - GirlsMay 3 - June 14th (Sunday)4:00pm - 5:00pm - U14 Boys5:00pm - 6:00pm -  High SchoolAges: Cost: $55 Res/ $65 Non-ResLocation: Alumni Field
