Adult Coed Volleyball - Adult Coed Volleyball Fall Session THURSDAYS INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED Instructor: Chris Beganski This upbeat co-ed volleyball program offers adults the opportunity to enjoy all the excitement of competitive volleyball in a friendly and supportive environment. Previous playing experience (ability to bump, set and hit) required for joining either night. Thursday night will have more advanced team play so position familiarity is critical. If you’re on the fence, come down and give it a try! Each evening, participants will initially be divided into 2 teams, which are then shuffled half way through to rebalance play. He graduated from Northeastern University in 2012 with a Communication’s degree. He has been a baseball coach for 10+ years in Reading, Ma, is an avid Boston sports fan, and produces and hosts his own sports talk show. He has a passion for teaching and connecting with people of all ages, backgrounds, and interests. Nick also owns and operates a health focused food/drink store in Reading and Woburn called Empower. The stores are dedicated in honor of Nick's Mom, Bonny, who tragically passed away in 2020.Program Description: Pokémon Battle Club: Gather up your Poke balls, muster your courage, and prepare your mind for the ultimate test of your Pokémon trainer abilities. Throughout this class, you will go head-tohead with other Pokémon trainers to determine who will become the Gym Master and take home the Grand Prize of 10 Pokémon booster packs. We will cover some basic Pokémon Trading Card Game strategy, but this class is intended for participants who have a basic knowledge of Pokémon the Trading Card Game. Circuit Lab - App Inventors Grades 3-5 Instructor: Circuit LabBio: Circuit Lab is a small company that teaches children about circuitry (electrical engineering) and programming (computer science) through creative, hands-on projects. Since 2015, our programs have given thousands of kids the opportunity to engage with electronics as tools - not toys - and design their own devices by blending technical concepts with hands-on experimentation. Program Descriptions: App Inventors (Winter 1, 3-5)Want to know how the apps work on your phone or iPad? Or do you already have the next great app idea, and just need to know how to make it? In this no-experience-required course, we use MIT App Inventor software to make fun, creative apps for Android phones and tablets. Spanish Language & Culture Classes - Spanish Language & Culture for Children - Winter 1 Spanish Language & Culture for Children Grades K-2 (In Person) Join us for a fun and engaging program designed to introduce young children to the Spanish language. Learning a second language at a young a ge is beneficial, easy, and fun- so much fun that children will not even notice how much they are learning! Students will practice the basics of the language while doing crafts, playing games, singing songs, and conversing with our experienced teacher. We aim to instill the values of sportsmanship, respect and self-discipline through healthy competition and the camaraderie of sport. Our hope is to foster a positive and memorable experience for the athletes and their families as well as our volunteers and coaches. We accept boys and girls from all backgrounds and help them to develop a lifelong passion for self-improvement.Littleton Youth Wrestling is committed to stopping all forms of bullying to create a safe environment for learning in both sports and school. See schedule on website.Cost: $180R/ $190NR Eligibility:Participation is open to boys and girls from K-8. No experience is necessary and non-competition-oriented kids are welcome. What to bring: Shorts, T-shirt, Wrestling Shoes, Mouthpiece, Headgear (see details) We are a local non-profit organization comprised of volunteers. As always, we are looking for parents (or older athletes in your family) who can assist with coaching and the set up and breakdown of the mats. Let us know if you would like to help by indicating on our registration form. All our procedures are in accordance with US Center for SafeSport practices, Massachusetts safe sports, and current Littleton Board of Health policies Practice format:Classes will typically include a warmup session, then a technique review and instruction, followed by practice and drills. Towards the end of each class will run short games intended to be fun. We will try to match youngsters of similar size and experience levels, depending on enrollment. History:Littleton Youth Wrestling, (DBA “Tiger Wrestling”) was founded in 2011 by Coach James Kennedy, a former all American high school and collegiate wrestler who wanted to revive Littleton’s wrestling program. Kennedy recognized from his own experience that wrestling provides a structure and a competitive environment conducive to both academic and professional growth and wanted to create the same opportunities for others.

Adult Coed Volleyball - Adult Coed Volleyball Fall Session THURSDAYS INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED Instructor: Chris Beganski This upbeat co-ed volleyball program offers adults the opportunity to enjoy all the excitement of competitive volleyball in a friendly and supportive environment. Previous playing experience (ability to bump, set and hit) required for joining either night. Thursday night will have more advanced team play so position familiarity is critical.
