Join us for the Summer 2025 edition of “Third Thursdays”, Littleton's Community Market!  Held on the 3rd Thursday of June, July and August.  Our purpose is to highlight, preserve, and grow Littleton's local businesses and organizations by creating an opportunity come together in a fun, festive, and family friendly community setting.  There is Food and Live music at each event!   We invite everyone to participate in one or more of the Community Market days. Participation in these events is a great way to show-off what you do and what you have to offer.  How you set up your booth is up to you, we just want you to be there!-Third Thursday's run from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM  -Set up is permitted any time after 3:30 PM-For Profit participants:           All 3 Events for $75.00 OR Pay as you go $30.00/month-Nonprofits, youth, or town organization please call the office to register All participants will be provided a 12x12 ‘booth’ space where they can “set up shop” for attendees to sample, shop, browse, and meet you and your staff.  We encourage you to be as interactive as possible with games, giveaways, samples, or demonstrations related to your business or organization.  Thank you in advance for participating in this great community event.  We are excited about the opportunity to showcase all that Littleton and the surrounding area has to offer.If you need further information please contact Tim Michalski at the Littleton Park, Recreation, and Community Education Department at (978) 540-2490, or visit www.littletonrec.com.  We look forward to hearing from you and we will "See you on the 3rd THURSDAY" !

8:00 AM - 10:00 AM    Youth Track Running Program with Margo Gillen - Fall Cross-Country Series with Margo
Instructor: Margo GillenMargo Gillen coached the boys and girls XC, Indoor, and Outdoor track teams for a total of 20 seasons. During those 20 seasons, she has worked with distance runners, sprinters, and all of the field events. She was chosen as the Indoor Coach of the Year twice by the MSTCA and was selected twice as the Coach of the Year by the Lowell Sun. Margo brings great energy and dedication to the sport of running and is very excited to share her love of running with younger athletes. Margo is also a teacher at the high school and has over 25 years of teaching Spanish at LHS!!Margo has been leading the Youth XC and Spring Track & Field Programs for two years! Fall Youth Cross Country Program Description: Every Sunday athletes will learn the fundamentals of running. They will warm-up at the beginning of each workout, do technique drills to work on form, play games, have a running workout and stretch at the end. On the last practice, athletes will run a race. Athletes in grades K-2 will run a 1/2 mile and athletes in grades 3-6 will run a mile. Both the 1/2 mile and mile races will start at Fay Park and will continue through the same trails that the high school XC runners use to compete and practice.Fall Schedule: Sundays for 6-weeks (9/7 - 10/12)Grade Level: K-6 - 8:00am-10:00amCost K-6: $200R/$210NR  Location: Fay Park Littleton (across from Fire station @ 20 Foster St) and/or 57 Russell St School Track (depending on weather conditions)
