Long Lake Youth Boating and Sailing Program - Long Lake Youth Sailing Program Week 1 Registration now OPENThe Long Lake Community Boating and Sailing Program integrates classroom instruction with hands-on experiences to impart sailing, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding skills to children. Throughout this immersive program, participants will acquire vital safety skills and foundational knowledge in boating, encompassing aspects such as boat anatomy, the science of sailing, knot tying, basic navigation, seamanship, rigging, de-rigging, and survival techniques. Ample opportunities are provided for children to apply their technical knowledge on the water, whether in a sailboat, canoe, kayak, or on a paddle board.Open to ages 8 to 13. Our program spans a one-week session following the guidelines of the US Sailing Small Boat Sailor Certification System. Enrollment is limited, with a maximum of 10 children per week. Students will have the opportunity learn about and sail Sunfish, O’Penn Skiffs & 420s.Each day, participants are expected to come prepared with their own supplies, ensuring they have the necessary equipment for their chosen water activity. Parents are encouraged to ensure their child brings the required materials as outlined:

Long Lake Youth Fishing Program - Long Lake Youth Fishing Program Week 1 Registration now OPEN!The Long Lake Fishing Program offers an
immersive and enriching experience tailored for young anglers. Designed to foster a deeper knowledge of the sport, they will be introduced to more advanced techniques and embark on excursions to various parts of the lake in pursuit of landing the ultimate catch.Appreciation for fishing, environmental stewardship, and the great outdoors. Our program provides an ideal platform for young anglers to develop their skills a
nd cultivate their love for nature.Participants begin their journey as novice anglers, receiving comprehensive instruction in introductory fishing and boating techniques. From learning how to care for their equipment and tie knots to mastering the art of baiting lines, casting, and understanding fish habitats. In addition to targeting Bass, participants will explore the diversity of the lake's fish species and honing their skills through week-long tournament-style fishing competitions. These friendly contests encompass categories such as most fish caught, largest catch for each species, total overall weight, and more, all while maintaining a focus on enjoyment and the acquisition of lifelong fishing strategies.
What to Expect:
A strong emphasis on boating safety, sun protection, and ethical catch-and-release practices.
Instruction on identifying fishing holding areas and understanding feeding patterns.
Lessons covering various fishing methods and presentations.
Guidance on effectively using different artificial baits, including top-water, spinner baits, plastics, and live bait.
Instruction on fishing techniques such as trolling, anchoring, and drifting.
The Long Lake Fishing Program promises not only skill development but also a memorable and enjoyable experience centered around the joys of fishing and appreciation for the natural world.Anglers are required to bring each day:

Long Lake Youth Boating and Sailing Program - Long Lake Youth Sailing Program Week 1 Registration now OPENThe Long Lake Community Boating and Sailing Program integrates classroom instruction with hands-on experiences to impart sailing, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding skills to children. Throughout this immersive program, participants will acquire vital safety skills and foundational knowledge in boating, encompassing aspects such as boat anatomy, the science of sailing, knot tying, basic navigation, seamanship, rigging, de-rigging, and survival techniques. Ample opportunities are provided for children to apply their technical knowledge on the water, whether in a sailboat, canoe, kayak, or on a paddle board.Open to ages 8 to 13. Our program spans a one-week session following the guidelines of the US Sailing Small Boat Sailor Certification System. Enrollment is limited, with a maximum of 10 children per week. Students will have the opportunity learn about and sail Sunfish, O’Penn Skiffs & 420s.Each day, participants are expected to come prepared with their own supplies, ensuring they have the necessary equipment for their chosen water activity. Parents are encouraged to ensure their child brings the required materials as outlined:

Long Lake Youth Fishing Program - Long Lake Youth Fishing Program Week 1 Registration now OPEN!The Long Lake Fishing Program offers an
immersive and enriching experience tailored for young anglers. Designed to foster a deeper knowledge of the sport, they will be introduced to more advanced techniques and embark on excursions to various parts of the lake in pursuit of landing the ultimate catch.Appreciation for fishing, environmental stewardship, and the great outdoors. Our program provides an ideal platform for young anglers to develop their skills a
nd cultivate their love for nature.Participants begin their journey as novice anglers, receiving comprehensive instruction in introductory fishing and boating techniques. From learning how to care for their equipment and tie knots to mastering the art of baiting lines, casting, and understanding fish habitats. In addition to targeting Bass, participants will explore the diversity of the lake's fish species and honing their skills through week-long tournament-style fishing competitions. These friendly contests encompass categories such as most fish caught, largest catch for each species, total overall weight, and more, all while maintaining a focus on enjoyment and the acquisition of lifelong fishing strategies.
What to Expect:
A strong emphasis on boating safety, sun protection, and ethical catch-and-release practices.
Instruction on identifying fishing holding areas and understanding feeding patterns.
Lessons covering various fishing methods and presentations.
Guidance on effectively using different artificial baits, including top-water, spinner baits, plastics, and live bait.
Instruction on fishing techniques such as trolling, anchoring, and drifting.
The Long Lake Fishing Program promises not only skill development but also a memorable and enjoyable experience centered around the joys of fishing and appreciation for the natural world.Anglers are required to bring each day:

Long Lake Youth Boating and Sailing Program - Long Lake Youth Sailing Program Week 1 Registration now OPENThe Long Lake Community Boating and Sailing Program integrates classroom instruction with hands-on experiences to impart sailing, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding skills to children. Throughout this immersive program, participants will acquire vital safety skills and foundational knowledge in boating, encompassing aspects such as boat anatomy, the science of sailing, knot tying, basic navigation, seamanship, rigging, de-rigging, and survival techniques. Ample opportunities are provided for children to apply their technical knowledge on the water, whether in a sailboat, canoe, kayak, or on a paddle board.Open to ages 8 to 13. Our program spans a one-week session following the guidelines of the US Sailing Small Boat Sailor Certification System. Enrollment is limited, with a maximum of 10 children per week. Students will have the opportunity learn about and sail Sunfish, O’Penn Skiffs & 420s.Each day, participants are expected to come prepared with their own supplies, ensuring they have the necessary equipment for their chosen water activity. Long Lake Youth Fishing Program - Long Lake Youth Fishing Program Week 1 Registration now OPEN!The Long Lake Fishing Program offers an
immersive and enriching experience tailored for young anglers. Designed to foster a deeper knowledge of the sport, they will be introduced to more advanced techniques and embark on excursions to various parts of the lake in pursuit of landing the ultimate catch.Appreciation for fishing, environmental stewardship, and the great outdoors. Our program provides an ideal platform for young anglers to develop their skills a
nd cultivate their love for nature.Participants begin their journey as novice anglers, receiving comprehensive instruction in introductory fishing and boating techniques. From learning how to care for their equipment and tie knots to mastering the art of baiting lines, casting, and understanding fish habitats. In addition to targeting Bass, participants will explore the diversity of the lake's fish species and honing their skills through week-long tournament-style fishing competitions. These friendly contests encompass categories such as most fish caught, largest catch for each species, total overall weight, and more, all while maintaining a focus on enjoyment and the acquisition of lifelong fishing strategies.

A strong emphasis on boating safety, sun protection, and ethical catch-and-release practices.
Instruction on identifying fishing holding areas and understanding feeding patterns.
Lessons covering various fishing methods and presentations.

Long Lake Youth Boating and Sailing Program - Long Lake Youth Sailing Program Week 1 Registration now OPENThe Long Lake Community Boating and Sailing Program integrates classroom instruction with hands-on experiences to impart sailing, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding skills to children. Throughout this immersive program, participants will acquire vital safety skills and foundational knowledge in boating, encompassing aspects such as boat anatomy, the science of sailing, knot tying, basic navigation, seamanship, rigging, de-rigging, and survival techniques. Ample opportunities are provided for children to apply their technical knowledge on the water, whether in a sailboat, canoe, kayak, or on a paddle board.Open to ages 8 to 13. Our program spans a one-week session following the guidelines of the US Sailing Small Boat Sailor Certification System. Enrollment is limited, with a maximum of 10 children per week. Students will have the opportunity learn about and sail Sunfish, O’Penn Skiffs & 420s.Each day, participants are expected to come prepared with their own supplies, ensuring they have the necessary equipment for their chosen water activity. Parents are encouraged to ensure their child brings the required materials as outlined:

Long Lake Youth Fishing Program - Long Lake Youth Fishing Program Week 1 Registration now OPEN!The Long Lake Fishing Program offers an
immersive and enriching experience tailored for young anglers. Designed to foster a deeper knowledge of the sport, they will be introduced to more advanced techniques and embark on excursions to various parts of the lake in pursuit of landing the ultimate catch.Appreciation for fishing, environmental stewardship, and the great outdoors. Our program provides an ideal platform for young anglers to develop their skills a
nd cultivate their love for nature.Participants begin their journey as novice anglers, receiving comprehensive instruction in introductory fishing and boating techniques. From learning how to care for their equipment and tie knots to mastering the art of baiting lines, casting, and understanding fish habitats. In addition to targeting Bass, participants will explore the diversity of the lake's fish species and honing their skills through week-long tournament-style fishing competitions. These friendly contests encompass categories such as most fish caught, largest catch for each species, total overall weight, and more, all while maintaining a focus on enjoyment and the acquisition of lifelong fishing strategies.
What to Expect:
A strong emphasis on boating safety, sun protection, and ethical catch-and-release practices.
Instruction on identifying fishing holding areas and understanding feeding patterns.
Lessons covering various fishing methods and presentations.
Guidance on effectively using different artificial baits, including top-water, spinner baits, plastics, and live bait.

Long Lake Youth Boating and Sailing Program - Long Lake Youth Sailing Program Week 2 Registration now OPENThe Long Lake Community Boating and Sailing Program integrates classroom instruction with hands-on experiences to impart sailing, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding skills to children. Throughout this immersive program, participants will acquire vital safety skills and foundational knowledge in boating, encompassing aspects such as boat anatomy, the science of sailing, knot tying, basic navigation, seamanship, rigging, de-rigging, and survival techniques. Ample opportunities are provided for children to apply their technical knowledge on the water, whether in a sailboat, canoe, kayak, or on a paddle board.Open to ages 8 to 13. Our program spans a one-week session following the guidelines of the US Sailing Small Boat Sailor Certification System. Enrollment is limited, with a maximum of 10 children per week. Students will have the opportunity learn about and sail Sunfish, O’Penn Skiffs & 420s.Each day, participants are expected to come prepared with their own supplies, ensuring they have the necessary equipment for their chosen water activity. Parents are encouraged to ensure their child brings the required materials as outlined:

Long Lake Youth Fishing Program - Long Lake Youth Fishing Program Week 2 Registration now OPEN!The Long Lake Fishing Program offers an
immersive and enriching experience tailored for young anglers. Designed to foster a deeper knowledge of the sport, they will be introduced to more advanced techniques and embark on excursions to various parts of the lake in pursuit of landing the ultimate catch.Appreciation for fishing, environmental stewardship, and the great outdoors. Our program provides an ideal platform for young anglers to develop their skills a
nd cultivate their love for nature.Participants begin their journey as novice anglers, receiving comprehensive instruction in introductory fishing and boating techniques. From learning how to care for their equipment and tie knots to mastering the art of baiting lines, casting, and understanding fish habitats. In addition to targeting Bass, participants will explore the diversity of the lake's fish species and honing their skills through week-long tournament-style fishing competitions. These friendly contests encompass categories such as most fish caught, largest catch for each species, total overall weight, and more, all while maintaining a focus on enjoyment and the acquisition of lifelong fishing strategies.
What to Expect:
A strong emphasis on boating safety, sun protection, and ethical catch-and-release practices.
Instruction on identifying fishing holding areas and understanding feeding patterns.
Lessons covering various fishing methods and presentations.
Guidance on effectively using different artificial baits, including top-water, spinner baits, plastics, and live bait.
Instruction on fishing techniques such as trolling, anchoring, and drifting.
The Long Lake Fishing Program promises not only skill development but also a memorable and enjoyable experience centered around the joys of fishing and appreciation for the natural world.Anglers are required to bring each day:

Long Lake Youth Boating and Sailing Program - Long Lake Youth Sailing Program Week 2 Registration now OPENThe Long Lake Community Boating and Sailing Program integrates classroom instruction with hands-on experiences to impart sailing, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding skills to children. Throughout this immersive program, participants will acquire vital safety skills and foundational knowledge in boating, encompassing aspects such as boat anatomy, the science of sailing, knot tying, basic navigation, seamanship, rigging, de-rigging, and survival techniques. Ample opportunities are provided for children to apply their technical knowledge on the water, whether in a sailboat, canoe, kayak, or on a paddle board.Open to ages 8 to 13. Our program spans a one-week session following the guidelines of the US Sailing Small Boat Sailor Certification System. Enrollment is limited, with a maximum of 10 children per week. Students will have the opportunity learn about and sail Sunfish, O’Penn Skiffs & 420s.Each day, participants are expected to come prepared with their own supplies, ensuring they have the necessary equipment for their chosen water activity. Parents are encouraged to ensure their child brings the required materials as outlined:

Long Lake Youth Fishing Program - Long Lake Youth Fishing Program Week 2 Registration now OPEN!The Long Lake Fishing Program offers an
immersive and enriching experience tailored for young anglers. Designed to foster a deeper knowledge of the sport, they will be introduced to more advanced techniques and embark on excursions to various parts of the lake in pursuit of landing the ultimate catch.Appreciation for fishing, environmental stewardship, and the great outdoors. Our program provides an ideal platform for young anglers to develop their skills a
nd cultivate their love for nature.Participants begin their journey as novice anglers, receiving comprehensive instruction in introductory fishing and boating techniques. From learning how to care for their equipment and tie knots to mastering the art of baiting lines, casting, and understanding fish habitats. In addition to targeting Bass, participants will explore the diversity of the lake's fish species and honing their skills through week-long tournament-style fishing competitions. These friendly contests encompass categories such as most fish caught, largest catch for each species, total overall weight, and more, all while maintaining a focus on enjoyment and the acquisition of lifelong fishing strategies.
What to Expect:
A strong emphasis on boating safety, sun protection, and ethical catch-and-release practices.
Instruction on identifying fishing holding areas and understanding feeding patterns.
Lessons covering various fishing methods and presentations.
Guidance on effectively using different artificial baits, including top-water, spinner baits, plastics, and live bait.
Instruction on fishing techniques such as trolling, anchoring, and drifting.
The Long Lake Fishing Program promises not only skill development but also a memorable and enjoyable experience centered around the joys of fishing and appreciation for the natural world.Anglers are required to bring each day:

Long Lake Youth Boating and Sailing Program - Long Lake Youth Sailing Program Week 2 Registration now OPENThe Long Lake Community Boating and Sailing Program integrates classroom instruction with hands-on experiences to impart sailing, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding skills to children. Throughout this immersive program, participants will acquire vital safety skills and foundational knowledge in boating, encompassing aspects such as boat anatomy, the science of sailing, knot tying, basic navigation, seamanship, rigging, de-rigging, and survival techniques. Ample opportunities are provided for children to apply their technical knowledge on the water, whether in a sailboat, canoe, kayak, or on a paddle board.Open to ages 8 to 13. Our program spans a one-week session following the guidelines of the US Sailing Small Boat Sailor Certification System. Enrollment is limited, with a maximum of 10 children per week. Students will have the opportunity learn about and sail Sunfish, O’Penn Skiffs & 420s.Each day, participants are expected to come prepared with their own supplies, ensuring they have the necessary equipment for their chosen water activity. Parents are encouraged to ensure their child brings the required materials as outlined:

Long Lake Youth Fishing Program - Long Lake Youth Fishing Program Week 2 Registration now OPEN!The Long Lake Fishing Program offers an
immersive and enriching experience tailored for young anglers. Designed to foster a deeper knowledge of the sport, they will be introduced to more advanced techniques and embark on excursions to various parts of the lake in pursuit of landing the ultimate catch.Appreciation for fishing, environmental stewardship, and the great outdoors. Our program provides an ideal platform for young anglers to develop their skills a
nd cultivate their love for nature.Participants begin their journey as novice anglers, receiving comprehensive instruction in introductory fishing and boating techniques. From learning how to care for their equipment and tie knots to mastering the art of baiting lines, casting, and understanding fish habitats. In addition to targeting Bass, participants will explore the diversity of the lake's fish species and honing their skills through week-long tournament-style fishing competitions. These friendly contests encompass categories such as most fish caught, largest catch for each species, total overall weight, and more, all while maintaining a focus on enjoyment and the acquisition of lifelong fishing strategies.
What to Expect:
A strong emphasis on boating safety, sun protection, and ethical catch-and-release practices.
Instruction on identifying fishing holding areas and understanding feeding patterns.
Lessons covering various fishing methods and presentations.
Guidance on effectively using different artificial baits, including top-water, spinner baits, plastics, and live bait.
Instruction on fishing techniques such as trolling, anchoring, and drifting.
The Long Lake Fishing Program promises not only skill development but also a memorable and enjoyable experience centered around the joys of fishing and appreciation for the natural world.Anglers are required to bring each day:

Long Lake Youth Boating and Sailing Program - Long Lake Youth Sailing Program Week 2 Registration now OPENThe Long Lake Community Boating and Sailing Program integrates classroom instruction with hands-on experiences to impart sailing, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding skills to children. Throughout this immersive program, participants will acquire vital safety skills and foundational knowledge in boating, encompassing aspects such as boat anatomy, the science of sailing, knot tying, basic navigation, seamanship, rigging, de-rigging, and survival techniques. Ample opportunities are provided for children to apply their technical knowledge on the water, whether in a sailboat, canoe, kayak, or on a paddle board.Open to ages 8 to 13. Our program spans a one-week session following the guidelines of the US Sailing Small Boat Sailor Certification System. Enrollment is limited, with a maximum of 10 children per week. Students will have the opportunity learn about and sail Sunfish, O’Penn Skiffs & 420s.Each day, participants are expected to come prepared with their own supplies, ensuring they have the necessary equipment for their chosen water activity. Parents are encouraged to ensure their child brings the required materials as outlined:

Long Lake Youth Fishing Program - Long Lake Youth Fishing Program Week 2 Registration now OPEN!The Long Lake Fishing Program offers an
immersive and enriching experience tailored for young anglers. Designed to foster a deeper knowledge of the sport, they will be introduced to more advanced techniques and embark on excursions to various parts of the lake in pursuit of landing the ultimate catch.Appreciation for fishing, environmental stewardship, and the great outdoors. Our program provides an ideal platform for young anglers to develop their skills a
nd cultivate their love for nature.Participants begin their journey as novice anglers, receiving comprehensive instruction in introductory fishing and boating techniques. From learning how to care for their equipment and tie knots to mastering the art of baiting lines, casting, and understanding fish habitats. In addition to targeting Bass, participants will explore the diversity of the lake's fish species and honing their skills through week-long tournament-style fishing competitions. These friendly contests encompass categories such as most fish caught, largest catch for each species, total overall weight, and more, all while maintaining a focus on enjoyment and the acquisition of lifelong fishing strategies.
What to Expect:
A strong emphasis on boating safety, sun protection, and ethical catch-and-release practices.
Instruction on identifying fishing holding areas and understanding feeding patterns.
Lessons covering various fishing methods and presentations.
Guidance on effectively using different artificial baits, including top-water, spinner baits, plastics, and live bait.
Instruction on fishing techniques such as trolling, anchoring, and drifting.
The Long Lake Fishing Program promises not only skill development but also a memorable and enjoyable experience centered around the joys of fishing and appreciation for the natural world.Anglers are required to bring each day:

If you are noticing the price discrepancy compared to last year, it is due to Field Trips being included in the overall cost for Weekly and Full Session Prices!Early Registration: 1/1/2026 - 2/28/2026Weekly: $435 Residents/ $445 Non-Residents Full Session: $2,900 Residents/ $2,950 Non-ResidentsRegular Registration: 3/1/26 - 6/15/26Weekly: $445 Residents/ $455 Non-ResidentsFull Session: $3,000 Residents/ $3,050 Non-Residents IF Snow days delay the start of camp - a credit or refund will be offered upon request for missed camp days. All BEFORE and AFTER CARE fees are due upon registration! Additional 10% sibling discount will be applied at checkout. Registering for Week 1 will require a $100 non-refundable deposit. Once last day of school is finalized (snow days) we will invoice all registrants for the amount due.
