Marcy's SUMMER Tennis Academy:
Since 1995, Marcy’s Tennis Academy (MTA) has introduced the fundamentals of tennis to more than 50 schools and community organizations, and we’re thrilled to bring our program to Littleton Parks and Recreation. Give your child the opportunity to learn a lifelong sport in a fun, engaging after-school environment. At MTA, we focus on building character and sportsmanship while ensuring every student has a fantastic time on the court.
Players will learn the basics of tennis in a group setting. Forehand, backhand, volleys, serves and overhead smash will be taught and practiced in a fun environment. Drills, games and match play will be focused to improve tennis skills. Scoring and strategy will be highlighted throughout the session.
All tennis players must bring a tennis racket to each class. As a convenience, junior tennis rackets can be purchased on the MTA website: www.marcystennis.com.
