Course Description: 
Our workshop is designed to guide students through key steps in their college application process, providing them with the time, support, and resources needed to make progress. This includes brainstorming and drafting the main college essay, as well as assisting students in filling out the CommonApp, including the activities section. For those applying to schools with additional essay requirements, students will have the opportunity to work on those as well, with personalized feedback and guidance.

About the Instructors:
 Heidi Hider studied English and education at Nazareth College of Rochester, NY and earned her Master's Degree in School Counseling from Boston College in 2001. She worked at Billerica Memorial High School for five years before joining Westford Academy's Counseling Department in 2006
Leah Birnkrant joined the WA Counseling department in 2015. Leah earned a B.S. in mathematics and secondary education from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. After teaching math for two years in Tennessee, Leah earned her M.Ed and C.A.S from Harvard Graduate School of Education in Counseling.
Together, they have helped hundreds of high school seniors with the college application process.
