Half Day After School Program (SHAKER LANE SCHOOL) WINTER 2021-22 (5 Sessions)

The Half-Day After School Program for the Shaker Lane School Students provides a quality experience for children in Grades K-2.   We will meet every half day of each season (Fall, Winter and Spring).

You can sign your child up for all 5 Half Days for a 10% Discount, or you can sign up for each of these programs individually.  

WINTER SEMESTER Dates and Activities/Program with Drop in Rate:
December 8th: One Stop Fun Field Trip $50
January 12th: Play-Well Technology Presents: Adventures in STEM $50
January 26th: Snapology Presents: Jedi Masters $50
February 9th: Benjamin Hill Sledding FIELD TRIP $50
March 2nd:  Play-Well Technology Presents: Jedi Engineering $50


We will meet your child after school at Russell Street School for lunch.  (Please pack a lunch for your child for all these program days).   We will then meet the instructor on instructor-led days or depart for the field trip on field trip days.  

12/8 One Stop Fun Field Trip: Littleton PRCE Staff will meet the registrants at the Shaker Lane School immediately after dismissal and have lunch with them at Shaker Lane.   We will then transport them via Littleton PRCE vans to ONE STOP FUN in westford and transport them back to Town offices for pick-up
-Pickup at Town Offices at 4:00pm

1/12 - Play-Well Technologies Presents: Adventures in STEM
Ratchet up your imagination with tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Design and build as never before, and explore your craziest ideas in a supportive environment.
-Pickup at Shaker Lane School Lobby at 3:30pm.

1/26:  FIELD TRIP TO ACTON BOWL-A-DROME!

-Pickup at 33 Shattuck St (PRCE Offices) at 3:30pm.

2/9: Benjamin Hill Sledding FIELD TRIP TBD $50;
Littleton PRCE Staff will meet registrants in the Shaker Lane School lobby and have lunch with them at either Shaker Lane or Benjamin Hill facility in Shirley MA.  We will then go sledding for the afternoon!  Littleton PRCE will supply sleds but if you have your own you can drop off at PRCE Offices at 33 Shattuck st the morning of the program.   We will have Hot Chocolate for everyone and return to Town offices for 4pm pickup!
IF THERE IS NO SNOW WE WILL GO BOWLING At ACTON BOWL-A-DROME
Pick up is 4:00pm at Town Offices

3/2: Play-Well Technologies: Jedi Engineering $50
The Force Awakens in this introductory engineering course for young Jedi! Explore engineering principles with LEGO® materials as we construct the Ewok Village on Endor, fly through space on our X-Wings, and defend the Echo Base on Hoth. Create motorized and architectural projects with imagination and engineering to defeat.
-Pickup at Shaker Lane School Lobby at 3:30pm.

Pick up time for non-field trip days is 3:30pm from the Shaker Lane School.
Field Trip Days pick up is 4:00pm at Town Offices.  

Total Cost for all 5 Half Days: $225.00 (10% savings on full program)

Required to attend this program:
2021 Family Record, 2021 Medical Authorization & Health History Form, and most recent well visit and immunization record (within 12 months)
