Half Day After School Program (RUSSELL STREET SCHOOL) WINTER 2021-22 (5 Sessions)

The Half-Day After School Program for the Russell Street School Students provides a quality experience for children in Grades 3 - 5.   We will meet every half day of each season (Fall, Winter and Spring).

You can sign your child up for all 5 Half Days for a 10% Discount, or you can sign up for each of these programs individually.

December 8th: Magic with Stephanie Beach $50
January 12th: Snapology Presents: Brick City $50
January 26th: Play-Well Technology Presents: Super Hero Master Engineering using LEGO® Materials $50
February 9th: Play-Well Technology Presents: Pokemon Engineering $50
March 2nd:  Snapology Presents: Drone Commander $50


We will meet your child after school at Russell Street School for lunch.  (Please pack a lunch for your child for all these program days).   We will then meet the instructor on instructor-led days or depart for the field trip on field trip days.  

12/8 Magic Workshop with Stephanie Beach: Staff will meet your child at RSS for lunch and deliver them to a Russell Street School Classroom for a magic workshop.
-Pickup at Russell Street School Lobby at 3:00pm

1/12 Snapology Brick City: Does your builder enjoy designing buildings and cities for their mini-figures? If so, this workshop is the perfect space for your young architect or city planner to sharpen their design and building skills! In this workshop students will learn all about the importance of collaboration, careful planning, and skillful execution of their building plans as we build out a full city!
-Pickup at Russell Street School Lobby at 3:00pm.

1/26:  Play-Well Technologies Super Hero Master Engineering using LEGO® Materials
LEGO® Super Heroes need your help. Cruise the skies in the Helicarrier, tinker in Tony Stark's Workshop,and take on Super Villains on your Super Hero battletrack. Students will explore real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture while helping their favorite heroes save the day.
-Pickup at Russell Street School Lobby at 3:00pm.

2/9 Play-Well Technologies Pokemon Engineering Using Lego Materials: Start training your in Pallet Town and expand your Pokedex as you collect your favorite Pokemon with Lego materials. Surf with Blastoise, challenge Team Rocket, earn badges from gym leaders on your way to the Pokemon League.  Design and Build as never before and explore your craziest ideas while learning about STEM concepts.
-Pickup at Russell Street School Lobby at 3:00pm.

3/2: Snapology: Drone Commander: In Snapology's Drone Commander program, our learners will be introduced to the world of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and develop a deep understanding how to control and manage exciting technology.  We will work together carefully to learn about types of UAVs, the parts needed for controlled flight, the forces of flight, basic drone safety, and a variety of flying maneuvers.  This exciting program will give your students the chance to safely test out some of the newest advances in robotocs and really take their knowledge of engineering to new heights. 
-Pickup at Russell Street School Lobby at 3:00pm.

Pick up time for non-field trip days is 3:00pm from the Russell Street School.
Field Trip Days pick up is 4:00pm at Town Offices.  

Total Cost for all 7 Half Days: $225.00 (10% savings on full program)
