Spanish Language and Culture - An Introduction for Adults

Fun World
Learn the basics of the Spanish language and hear about the many different cultures that use it. This class is ideal for novice students who are curious about learning a new language and about different countries and cultures. Students will be introduced to this beautiful and useful language with the help of readings, conversations, and gentle grammar instruction. Students will learn how to introduce themselves and their family, how to talk about hobbies or books that they like, and will have an opportunity to explore cultural topics of interest.

Instructor:
Elizabeth Conroy of Fun World Language Academy has a BA in Elementary and Bilingual Education from Boston College and a MA in Educational Management from Lesley University. She has many years of experience teaching Spanish in public schools in MA as well as at Fun World Language Academy. Her adventurous spirit has also taken her around the world – she has taught English in Japan and the Philippines in the 1980’s and she did the famous trek in Europe El Camino De Santiago where she practiced her Spanish skills.
