Human Biology
Going through lots of snacks while learning at home? In this virtual lesson, we will show students how energy gets converted from food into our digestive system and how other organ systems use energy to fuel cells. We are what we eat! Register to receive an online ZOOM link and access the virtual classroom.
Session 2: Wednesday April 8, 3:00pm - 4:00pm
Shipwrecked!
Social distancing can feel like we are stranded on a deserted island. In this virtual lesson, we will take children on an adventure where we visit an active volcano and get stranded on an island. We will use science to survive on the island and share activities that children can do at home. Students will be moving and actively participating in this educational experience. Register to receive an online ZOOM link and access the virtual classroom.
Once you have completed the registration, we will email the link to join the class.
