Hubbas BBQ Cooking School

Instructor: Brad Hudson

This class teaches you to make amazing, melt-in-your-mouth BBQ right in your own backyard! All aspects of backyard BBQ will be covered, including: using a chimney starter; how to start a fire in a firebox; different types of smokers and how to use them; how to make rubs and sauces; different types of meat and how to cook them; food safety; common mistakes; resources on and offline; how competition BBQ differs from backyard BBQ, and much more! Each student will make 2 rubs from scratch and apply them to 2 racks of ribs, which will be cooked and ready to share with the class by 4pm. A free BBQ lunch is provided along with drinks available all day. Students get a free digital thermometer, spice shaker and 16” stainless tongs.
