Course Description:
Meet the horses where they live, learn their different characteristics, and get a close look at their everyday lives. Children will learn that having a relationship with a horse means being responsible and committed and requires caring for their daily needs. The benefits of involving children in the world of horses, no matter what the age, go beyond entertainment and recreational value.
Life in the Barn is a fun, hands-on experience where you'll get to ride one of our amazing horses here at Harmony Horse Stables. Not only will you get to hop on one of our wonderful school horses and learn the basics of riding, you'll also get a sneak peak into what it takes to care for horses, how to get them ready for a ride and how to take care of them afterward.
