4:00 PM - 5:00 PM    Life Coaching for Teens & Tweens - Empower Youth
Empower Youth: A 6-Week Life Coaching Program for Teens and Tweens with Kevin Baker Program Description Parents of Teens and Tweens - are you seeing warning signs in your child?  Are you frustrated or confused about a lack of confidence, goal setting, low self esteem, or trouble managing emotions?  You’re a great parent for caring and you’re not alone!  There is a solution!  My name is Coach Kevin and I’m a certified professional life coach specializing in helping teens and tweens be the best version of themselves.  My mission is to empower and guide teens and tweens on their journey towards personal growth and success through self awareness and happiness.  The 6 week Empower Youth Program is designed to help Teens and Tweens build awareness, gain insights, set goals and take action to achieve them all in a fun, judgment-free zone.  We’ll utilize tools and strategies based in positive psychology philosophy and apply them to get results! Week 1:  Building AwarenessWeek 2:  Self DiscoveryWeek 3:  Limiting Beliefs vs Empowering BeliefsWeek 4:  Hopes, Dreams & PassionsWeek 5:  S.M.A.R.T. GoalsWeek 6:  Taking Action & Accountability Instructor Bio:   Kevin Baker is a Certified Professional Life Coach specializing in helping teens and tweens to overcome limiting beliefs to be the best version of themselves by using positivity in thoughts to feed emotions, behaviors and results.  He’s also the father of a teenage girl, tweenage boy and an 8 year old - His mission is to empower and guide teens and tweens on their journey towards personal growth and success through self awareness and happiness. His life experience, grit and resilience coupled with emotional intelligence and intuition plus being a really, really good listener makes life coaching for teens and tweens his sweet spot.  He has a unique ability to build rapport and help people.  He’s an entrepreneur, strategist, executor, implementer, & action taker with a focus on growth mindset and constant improvement. Certifications:International Coaching FederationInternational Association of Professional Recovery CoachesCertified Professional Teen Life Coach Mentorship:  Life Scholars Academy - Dr. RJ Jackson Philosophy and Approach My philosophy as a coach is that happiness and success happen from the inside-out  - as Dr. RJ would say “Life Happens in the Mind.”  As one practices self awareness they can gain insights about themselves mentally, emotionally and spiritually which sets them on a path toward happiness, success and fulfillment.   There are a number of different tools and strategies we utilize to gain the clarity needed but it all starts with connecting in a conversation. Some of my favorite Models and Frameworks are Dr. Martin Seligmans PERMA™ Theory of Well-Being and The 5 Pillars of Health and Performance by Dr. Andrew Huberman I have a remarkable ability to connect with people  - teens and tweens among them - some of that is being able to view matters through the eyes of the other person to interpret what might be underlying. There is no better feeling to me than to walk away from a conversation knowing that I truly helped someone.  Whether it be reframing a limiting belief to an empowering one or to help someone gain awareness and insights to create goals and take action.  It never gets old and I love it.  “Working with Coach Kevin was an amazing experience. Most importantly, it put action into some thing that I had been putting aside. His caring, reflective, thoughtful approach, and idea generating helped me move past a huge hurdle. I am reaping the benefits already, and I’m excited to use more of his lessons in my life.” -Scot M Kids today have so many hurdles and challenges to get through.  We need them to grow up to be resilient, kind, aware, mindful individuals.  That’s what will make the World a better place and ensure that they are happy individuals - their success will follow.  I’ve learned all these tools and strategies based in positive psychology and how to apply them to teens and tweens to get results. Schedule a consultation call to see if I can help you too.  www.lifecoachkevin.comSPRING 1 Schedule: Schedule: Thursdays, 3/7 - 4/11 4:00pm-5:00pmLocation: Littleton PRCE OfficesAges: 10-18Cost: $125R/ $135NRSPRING 2 Schedule: Schedule: Thursdays, 5/2 - 6/6 4:00pm-5:00pmLocation: Littleton PRCE OfficesAges: 10-18Cost: $125R/ $135NR

Our goal is to introduce the children to the game of golf in a fun and interactive way so they can join you on the greens one day!SPRING IISchedule:SUNDAYS: 5/5-6/16 (NO Session May 26)10:00am-10:45am Ages: 3-6 Years oldCost: $165R/ $175NRLocation: Shattuck Field

3:20 PM - 4:50 PM    Circuit Lab - Circuit Lab Circuit Makers 101
Instructor: Circuit LabBio: Since 2015, Circuit Lab has offered hands-on learning programs in Greater Boston to teach children about circuitry (electrical engineering) and  programming (computer science). Our programs give kids an opportunity to learn essential modern-world skills that aren’t typically taught in school in a creative and supportive setting where they have access to leading-edge electronics prototyping equipment.Program Descriptions: Circuit Makers 101 Let’s get creative with electricity! In this junior electronics class, students will gain experience with creating their own electronics; designing custom light-up greeting cards, electric games, mazes, and even musical instruments. Each class day consists of a circuitry lesson and a hands-on electronics project, using components such as lights, buzzers, switches, motors, and sensors. Circuit Lab staff will make sure participants create a project that they can be proud of each day. Most class days include a take-home project.Hands-On Electronics Tinker with electronics while learning the basics of computer programming. We begin by experimenting with the fundamentals of electronics and circuitry, and step up to projects where our class of young makers will design their own interactive and programmable devices. Participants use the latest tools including Arduino (for building interactive devices) and Raspberry Pi (for learning about computers and coding) to experiment with LEDs, resistors, motors, and programming.
