With the success of the fall program, Parks and Rec and the Littleton Flag football board are developing a new program for the spring. A one-night a week "Skills, Drills, and Scrimmage" on Alumni Field on Saturday or Sunday nights for 1 hour.
The goal of this season is to continue the excitement for youths who love flag in a relatively low commitment given all of the spring sports and activities underway. Starting May 2nd for 6 weeks, U10, U12, U14, Girls division, and opening up a High School division, players will get 30mins of skills and drills and then 30mins of scrimmage following our NFL flag rules. Teams will be selected based on registration in advance based on age divisions, and we will need coaches for each team. This is a great way to have some fun on Saturday and Sunday nights. Youth Spring Track & Field with Margo Gillen - Spring Youth Track & Field with Margo Instructor: Margo GillenMargo Gillen is no stranger to track & field in Littleton! She has a combined total of 20 seasons of coaching indoor and outdoor track & field, and cross country at Littleton High School. During those 20 seasons, she has worked with distance runners, sprinters, and all of the field events. She was chosen as the Indoor Coach of the Year twice by the MSTCA and was selected twice as the Coach of the Year by the Lowell Sun. Margo has also been running spring and fall youth track programs through Littleton PRCE for three years!
Youth Spring Track & Field Program Description:
Every Sunday athletes will learn the fundamentals of track and field. They will do warm-up routine at the beginning of each workout, followed by technique drills for individual events, run, and have a cool down at the end of each practice. During this program, athletes will learn the throwing, jumping, relay and running events. Youth Spring Track & Field with Margo Gillen - Spring Youth Track & Field with Margo Instructor: Margo GillenMargo Gillen is no stranger to track & field in Littleton! She has a combined total of 20 seasons of coaching indoor and outdoor track & field, and cross country at Littleton High School. During those 20 seasons, she has worked with distance runners, sprinters, and all of the field events. She was chosen as the Indoor Coach of the Year twice by the MSTCA and was selected twice as the Coach of the Year by the Lowell Sun. Margo has also been running spring and fall youth track programs through Littleton PRCE for three years!
Youth Spring Track & Field Program Description:
Every Sunday athletes will learn the fundamentals of track and field. They will do warm-up routine at the beginning of each workout, followed by technique drills for individual events, run, and have a cool down at the end of each practice. During this program, athletes will learn the throwing, jumping, relay and running events. Youth Spring Track & Field with Margo Gillen - Spring Youth Track & Field with Margo Instructor: Margo GillenMargo Gillen is no stranger to track & field in Littleton! She has a combined total of 20 seasons of coaching indoor and outdoor track & field, and cross country at Littleton High School. During those 20 seasons, she has worked with distance runners, sprinters, and all of the field events. She was chosen as the Indoor Coach of the Year twice by the MSTCA and was selected twice as the Coach of the Year by the Lowell Sun. Margo has also been running spring and fall youth track programs through Littleton PRCE for three years!
Youth Spring Track & Field Program Description:
Every Sunday athletes will learn the fundamentals of track and field. They will do warm-up routine at the beginning of each workout, followed by technique drills for individual events, run, and have a cool down at the end of each practice. During this program, athletes will learn the throwing, jumping, relay and running events.
