Instructor: Margo GillenMargo Gillen is no stranger to track & field in Littleton! She has a combined total of 20 seasons of coaching indoor and outdoor track & field, and cross country at Littleton High School. During those 20 seasons, she has worked with distance runners, sprinters, and all of the field events. She was chosen as the Indoor Coach of the Year twice by the MSTCA and was selected twice as the Coach of the Year by the Lowell Sun. Margo has also been running spring and fall youth track programs through Littleton PRCE for three years! Youth Spring Track & Field Program Description: Every Sunday athletes will learn the fundamentals of track and field. They will do warm-up routine at the beginning of each workout, followed by technique drills for individual events, run, and have a cool down at the end of each practice. During this program, athletes will learn the throwing, jumping, relay and running events. Instructor: Margo GillenMargo Gillen is no stranger to track & field in Littleton! She has a combined total of 20 seasons of coaching indoor and outdoor track & field, and cross country at Littleton High School. During those 20 seasons, she has worked with distance runners, sprinters, and all of the field events. She was chosen as the Indoor Coach of the Year twice by the MSTCA and was selected twice as the Coach of the Year by the Lowell Sun. Margo has also been running spring and fall youth track programs through Littleton PRCE for three years! Youth Spring Track & Field Program Description: Every Sunday athletes will learn the fundamentals of track and field. They will do warm-up routine at the beginning of each workout, followed by technique drills for individual events, run, and have a cool down at the end of each practice. During this program, athletes will learn the throwing, jumping, relay and running events. Marcy's Tennis Academy:Since 1995, Marcy’s Tennis Academy (MTA) has introduced the fundamentals of tennis to more than 50 schools and community organizations, and we’re thrilled to bring our program to Littleton Parks and Recreation. Give your child the opportunity to learn a lifelong sport in a fun, engaging after-school environment. At MTA, we focus on building character and sportsmanship while ensuring every student has a fantastic time on the court.Players will learn the basics of tennis in a group setting. Forehand, backhand, volleys, serves and overhead smash will be taught and practiced in a fun environment. Drills, games and match play will be focused to improve tennis skills.
