Beginner Knitting: Do you want to learn how to knit but don't have a lot of time? Then this class is perfect for you. During this class, Diane will teach the basics of knitting (knit/purl stitch, casting on & off) while making a lovely hat or cowl for yourself or to give as a gift! If time permits, you could knit both. Please bring: one ball of bulky yarn, preferably smooth in a light color and a size 10 16" circular knitting needle for the hat, size 10 24" circular needle for the cowl.

Sock Knitting: This  class is a perfect to learn to knit socks, 2 at a time. Diane will help guide you as you work either toe up or cuff down using the magic loop technique. You will learn the basics of knitting socks, including shaping the heel and toe with a smooth seamless finish. You will have the choice of knitting socks using worsted or fingering yarn.
For the Sock class, students will need to bring 180 yards worsted-weight yarn (note that the yarn will need to be in 2 separate balls). In addition, a size 7 circular needle, minimum 40" length is needed.

* Adjustments and discounts will be applied during checkout if applicable. *
