YOGA FOR STUDENT ATHLETES
Throughout the course of an athlete’s season, training is typically geared towards specific muscles that are relevant to the athlete’s sport. This training can lead to an imbalance due to the neglect of other muscle groups. Yoga is a very useful means by which to bring balance to an athlete’s training. This balance can help alleviate soreness and tightness, increase performance in competition, and potentially prevent injury.  Yoga can also be used to increase an athlete's mindfulness and decrease their stress levels. This program is appropriate for youth between the ages of 13-18.

Ages:
13 - 18
